Bulgarian customs authorities have seized heroin worth 500 000 euro on a train travelling from Istanbul to the Serbian capital Belgrade via Bulgaria, Bulgarian media reported on March 22 2010, citing reports from Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).The heroin was detected in a sleeping compartment under a false floor. Bulgarian customs police seized the drugs after conducting a "thorough" check on the carriage.For the moment there is no information if the Bulgarian police acted on a tip-off.
